Charlotte Howard

Charlotte is a writer, photographer, and freelance journalist based in New York City, driven by a love for storytelling and an endless curiosity about people.

At 16, she co-founded the Pelham Examiner, the first student run newspaper in the US. She went on to study journalism and write for outlets including The Boston Globe, DIG Boston, and Horizon Mass News.

Along the way, she built her photography brand @shuttersbychar, capturing concerts, portraits, and lifestyle work. She’s photographed artists like Rhys, G-Eazy, The Stews, and Sydney Rose.

She’s guided by good light, sharp humor, and the ongoing attempt to figure out what it all means.
